Slick City is an indoor action park built around dry slides, which are slides you ride on a mat with no water, so there are no swimsuits and no towels. The Frisco location was announced by Community Impact in April 2025 and was due to open that May. It is a different kind of indoor outing than a bounce house, because the draw is speed and a few big attractions, not a room full of soft play.

What You Can Do There

Community Impact’s Frisco preview named these attractions:

  • Fast Lane: a dry slide with a race component, so riders compete down the lane.
  • Avalanche: a dry slide that involves navigating a course.
  • Freestyle Air Court: a multi-use air court for parkour-style moves and tumbling.
  • Junior Jungle: a multi-level playground for guests under 45 inches tall, so smaller siblings have somewhere to play. Its use is included with an Action Ticket.

The park may have added attractions since that preview, so check its Frisco page for the current list.

Tickets and Socks

These prices come from Slick City’s own Frisco pricing page.

TicketPriceWho it is for
Action Ticket, 90 minutes$28.99Ages 4 and up
Action Ticket, 120 minutes$33.99Ages 4 and up
Junior Ticketfrom $14.99Ages 3 and under
  • Socks: CitySocks are required with every ticket, cost $4.99 a pair, and are yours to keep and reuse. The park does not accept grip socks from other family entertainment centers.
  • Online booking: the FAQ recommends booking online to avoid lines, though you can also buy at the park’s kiosks or counter. Online sales are final, but tickets can be moved to another date or time if capacity allows.
  • Busiest times: Friday through Sunday. Monday through Thursday is typically less busy.
  • Hours: these vary by day and by event. The Frisco site has an hours page, so check it for the day you plan to visit.

Special Sessions

Frisco’s pricing page also lists programs that run on certain dates, so check the calendar for the next one:

  • Little Sliders Club ($14.99): playtime for kids 7 and under, with ages 4 to 7 on the big slides and air courts and toddlers 3 and under in the Junior Jungle, plus crafts, music and character visits.
  • Sensory Hours ($19.99): a calmer session with lowered music and smaller crowds, for guests with sensory sensitivities. All ages are welcome.
  • After Hours ($31.99): a glow-in-the-dark evening for kids and teens. Guests must buy an After Hours neon t-shirt and CitySocks if they do not already have them.
  • Adults Only Night: an evening for ages 18 and up.

Rules to Know

  • Waivers: every guest, including spectators, must have a signed waiver. Parents or guardians sign for anyone under 18, and it can be done online.
  • Spectators: adults who are not riding do not have to pay to enter, but they need a waiver and get a separate wristband. Children cannot hang around the park without an adult.
  • Food: no outside food or drink. The park sells hot food, snacks, candy and drinks.
  • Not allowed: unsupervised children, weapons, smoking or vaping, and fighting or horseplay.

Is It Right for Your Family?

At $28.99 for 90 minutes plus socks, Slick City costs more than the other indoor play spaces we list, so it works best as a special outing for kids who will use the full session. Kids under 4 cannot use the slides, so families with a mix of ages should plan around the Junior Jungle and the Junior Ticket.
