Trinity Forest Adventure Park

Trinity Forest Adventure Park - Parks & Nature in Dallas, TX

Trinity Forest Adventure Park is the first and only aerial adventure park of its kind in Texas, tucked into the trees off Interstate 20 in southern Dallas. With more than 30 zip lines and over 100 obstacles strung through the forest canopy, it trades screens and lines for genuine, harnessed treetop climbing. For adventurous kids, tweens, and teens (and the parents brave enough to join them), it’s one of the most memorable active outings in the metroplex.

The Courses

The park is built around nine aerial courses of increasing difficulty, color-coded so families can start easy and work up. You’ll cross wobble bridges and tightropes, climb ladders and nets, tackle military-style obstacles, take free-fall drops, and ride zip lines at heights reaching up to 50 feet off the ground. Everyone starts with Ground School, a short training session where staff fit your harness and teach you how to clip in and move safely, so no experience is needed to begin.

Age and Height Requirements (Read Before You Go)

This is the part to check carefully, because not every child can do every course:

  • Main courses: participants must be at least 6 years old, 48 inches tall, AND able to reach a cable 60 inches above their head while flat-footed. All three requirements matter.
  • Out on a Limb (kids’ course): a separate lower course built for kids as young as 4, so younger siblings aren’t left out.
  • Supervision: anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult at the park, and kids cannot be dropped off, so plan for a grown-up to stay (and ideally climb too).

Measuring your child’s height and reach before you drive out saves a lot of disappointment at check-in.

Tickets, Timing, and What to Know

  • Tickets: as of 2026, the 3-Hour Open Exploration pass is about $49.95, a shorter Explorer Pass is around $29.95, and the kids’ Out on a Limb course is about $14.95 with a parent chaperone included free. Birthday packages are also available. Prices and promotions change, so confirm current rates at trinitytreetops.com before you go.
  • Plan on a couple of hours minimum; the full 3-hour pass is worth it for older kids who want to conquer the harder courses.
  • Booking ahead is smart, since sessions are timed and weekends fill up.

What to Bring

Wear closed-toe athletic shoes and comfortable clothes you can move and climb in, and tie back long hair. It’s an outdoor, weather-dependent activity, so bring water, sunscreen, and bug spray in warmer months, and check the forecast (courses may pause for storms). Gloves are recommended and sometimes available on site.

Make It an Outdoor Day

Trinity Forest sits near several other green-space stops in southeast Dallas. Pair it with the trails and wildlife of the Trinity River Audubon Center, or the open water and bike loop at White Rock Lake Park.
